Bit About Bill

Bill Robbins
Bill began his love of photography as a surfer who could not go in the water one summer due to an injury. To stay connected to sufing he began shooting photos of his buddies surfing and along with the encourgement of his high school photo teacher was hooked for life.

An award winning photographyer Bill's work has been featured in PDN, Rangefinder Magazine, Photo Pro and Communication Arts. Bill's client list includes American Airlines, Nike, United Airlines, Disney Studio's, Caesars World, Miller Beer, Tecate Beer, NBC-TV, Universal Pictures, RCA Music, Sprots Illustrated, Family Circle, Draft Magazine. Advertising Agency client list includes JWT, McCann Erikson, Chiat Day, DDB, Leo Burnett, O&M, Grey Adv,.

Bill's current work is centered around the food and beverage markets including the chefs that make the most beautiful and interesting food.

Bill is also an educator, having graduated from Art Center College of Design, Bill started teaching advertising photography classes as a way of giving back once his career started to take hold.

In 2000 Bill joined the faculty of Brooks Institute where he currently teaches classes in advertising and food photography.
